How Bidding Works

● Bidding starts as soon as the auction is live.
● Our auction system features a soft closing and proxy bidding, which means that if you place a bid in the final minutes of the auction, it will automatically extend the closing time to allow for additional bids.
● Most bidding activity takes place towards the end of the auction, so we recommend that you monitor the bidding activity during this period. If you have placed a bid, you will receive a notification if you have been outbid.
● Our website uses a real-time updating system, so you can watch the bidding action as it happens without having to refresh the page.
● You can place a maximum bid amount on your order, which means that the system will automatically place bids on your behalf up to that amount, so you don't have to worry about keeping up with the bidding activity in real-time.

Bidding Increments

At Grand Momentous, we believe in transparent and fair bidding increments to ensure that every auction is conducted in a consistent and equitable manner. Our bidding increments are designed to provide flexibility and balance for both buyers and sellers.
● All auction starts at $0 dollars. Auction accepts the following increments:
o $1-$9 ~ $1
o $10 - $30 ~ $2.5
o $30 -$200 ~ $5
o $200-$1000000- ~10
For items with a starting price of $1 to $9, the bidding increments are set at $1. This means that each bid must increase by at least $1.
For items with a starting price of $10 to $30, the bidding increments are set at $2.5. This means that each bid must increase by at least $2.5.
For items with a starting price of $35 and above, the bidding increments are set at $5. This means that each bid must increase by at least $5.
These bidding increments are designed to allow for competitive bidding while maintaining a level playing field for all participants. By setting these increments, we ensure that everyone has a fair chance to bid and win the items they desire.

Item Conditions

Here are some possible condition descriptions for different product types:

New (open box): This refers to products that are in brand new condition but are not in their original packaging. They may have been opened for inspection or testing, but have not been used.
New w tags: This refers to items that are brand new and have never been used, with the original tags still attached. The item is in perfect condition and has no signs of wear, tear, or damage.
New w/o tags: This refers to items that are brand new and have never been used, but do not have the original tags attached. The item is in perfect condition and has no signs of wear, tear, or damage.
Open box (like new): This refers to products that may have been opened and used briefly, but are in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear. They may be missing some original accessories or packaging.
Refurbished: Refurbished items are pre-owned items that have been professionally restored to their original condition or better. These items have been inspected and tested to ensure they are in good working condition, and any necessary repairs or replacements have been made. Refurbished items may show some signs of previous use, but they have been restored to a like-new condition.
Like new: This refers to products that may have been used briefly, but are in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear. They may be missing some original accessories or packaging.
Pre-owned: This refers to products that have been previously owned and used. They may show signs of wear and tear, but are in good working condition.
As-is: This refers to products that are sold in their current condition, with no guarantee of functionality or condition. They may be defective, damaged, or missing parts. It is important to carefully read the product description and understand the risks before purchasing an "as-is" product.
It's important to note that these condition descriptions can vary between sellers and marketplaces, so it's always a good idea to carefully read the product description and ask any questions before making a purchase.

Completing Your Order

At Grand Momentous, we strive to provide a fair and transparent auction experience for all of our customers. To ensure that our auctions run smoothly and efficiently, we have established the following policies regarding payment and pickup of auction items:
1. Payment policy: Once a customer has won a bid at the end of an auction, they have three days to complete payment for their item. Payment can be made through our secure online payment system, and we accept a variety of payment methods. Failure to complete payment within three days may result in suspension of the customer's account.
2. Pickup policy: At the end of each auction, customers have one week to pick up their items. Pickup times and locations will be specified in the auction listing. If a customer is unable to pick up their item within the specified timeframe, they must contact us to make alternate arrangements. Failure to pick up items within one week may result in storage fees.
3. Storage fees: If a customer fails to pick up their item within the specified timeframe, they may be subject to storage fees. These fees will be outlined in the auction listing and are the responsibility of the customer to pay.
4. User suspension: Failure to pay for auction items or repeated failure to pick up items may result in suspension of the customer's account. Suspended users will not be allowed to participate in future auctions until outstanding issues are resolved.

Warranty And Returns

Thank you for choosing Grand Momentous as your auction company. We understand that sometimes, items purchased from us may not meet your expectations. Therefore, we have created a return policy that allows you to return items within two weeks of receipt.
To initiate a return, please email us at support@grandmomentous.ca within 14 days of receiving the item. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item to us.
Please note that the item must be returned in the same condition it was received in, with all original tags, packaging, and documentation. We do not accept internation returns. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the item. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe delivery of your item.
Once we receive the returned item and confirm that it is in the same condition as it was sent, we will process a refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Please be aware that some items may be subject to a restocking fee. This fee will be clearly stated on the product page and in the order confirmation email.
Grand Momentous reserves the right to refuse a return if the item has been damaged or altered in any way. We also reserve the right to amend or update our return policy at any time, and any changes will be reflected on our website.
